Speed Link Medusa Pro Gamer 5.1 Headset Review
Of course ultimately headsets are for sound, and luckily the Medusa picks up its game again here. First impressions are loud - really loud. This headset doesn't hang about, and as soon as I click on an mp3 I'm off the chair in shock. Powerful and crisp, the sound quality is superb.

Nice review - particularly like the look of that carry case you get with them. Good idea is that. Also it's good to know that the village ruffian comes out sounding crisp! I for one use headphones all the time these days, wouldn't go back to speakers except for playing music when I'm not sat at the PC.

Aye I use my Sennheiser 650's far more than my speakers, my headphones have to be on my head a good 10 hours of the day. Comfort is one of the most important aspects of a headphone other than sound quality.

As for 5.1 headphones I still think its mostly gimmick as the speakers are too close together to really make that much of a difference. Would much prefer a well done pair of senns for positional sound in games and movies to a 5.1 gaming set.

I used these for ages. They are heavy though and the interference that the amp box used to pick up was highly annoying. It used to pick up mobile interference from meters and meters away.

I'll stick with my Sennheiser headset that was reviewed previously. Superior sound, comfort and mic. 510 I think it was.
