Only in America?  by James W at 11:14

I like think this could only happen in America, but theinquirer.net reports a computer gamer has been arrested and could be facing 15 years in prision. Of course you are now thinking what on earth could your average gamer do to warrant a possible 15 years sentence? Heres a quote:

Anthony Jones was playing Grand Theft Auto with a child and decided to call a mate in a local restaurant.
After the friend answered Jones got to a crucial bit in the game, got a bit excited and uttered the words "There's a bomb in the building. There's a bomb in the building. Everyone needs to get out!" and hung up to continue the game.
A worker heard the warning, considered it a serious threat and became scared and called the police. The restaurant was evacuated and searched for explosives.
Police were able to use a call-return feature to determine where the call had been placed. The house belonged to a friend of Jones, who said Jones had been playing the video game and had used his phone.

Keeping with our friends over the pond, a man has been arrested for sending out hundreds of millions of unsolicited commercial (spam). The reports states that due to previous convictions the man will get the maximum sentance of possibly 7 years in prision.

Maybe I'm an asshole, but I think the first guy should get an apology from the tit who rang the police, whilst I think the second guy should get 15 years.
