You all remember back in the good old days of Duke Nukem? The eagerly awaited sequel that was happily named Duke Nukem Forever that never was?

Well it seems after browsing some gaming sites that some places are taking Pre Orders on what they say is a release date of around October. So I headed to the official site to see what they have to say.

The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period.

So it seems once more we have to wait an eternity for its release. After so many new FPS out there Duke will have a lot to do, to compete and bring us all back to the ways of kicking ass and chewing bubblegum.
