Again, slightly before it's UK release, a first retail patch for Atari's impressive looking RTS, Act of War is available. Version 1b can be downloaded from 3dGamers and Fileshack.

Yet another game I'd like, good games seem to be like buses, none for ages, then several at once.

Think I tried the demo and it looked like a rip-off of C&C, which is no bad thing if they pull it off but wasnt convensined by the demo. Still would like to see the final game.
