Those of you who are into your online console gaming may well be interested in this.

Xequted re-launched the official The Last Man Standing tournament system, on the 4th March with a 96 player Halo 2 tournament with some great prizes up for grabs supplied generously by Microsoft Studios.

Last Man Standing has a Ghost Recon 2 Tournament on the 24th March for all those budding sharpshooters. You can also sign you're clan up for future team based tournaments.

The original system has now been improved and built upon to include access to the Xequted website, community forums and to create invaluable experience for the community. The tournament system also allows for much needed customisation and expansion past single player tournaments for the future, providing games with a longer competitive lifetime.

The Last Man Standing provides a distinctive array of tournaments planned for the next three months with one major tournament per week from a variety of titles. These weekly tournaments will be hosted on a Sunday evening with smaller tournaments hosted throughout the week on many other titles, providing a number of alternatives and more interesting gameplay modes too!

Luke Newcombe, Head of Communications Xequted.
"I am delighted with Xequted's technical department, the sheer scale of the Last Man Standing tournament project was a massive concept from the start and the team has shown a dedicated commitment to providing the very best online competitive game based system for the gamer, player and most importantly the customer"

Mark Boadley, Tournament Organiser.
"Gamers now have a unique and distinctive platform for online tournaments, and a place to prove whether they are The Last Man Standing!"
