I've never considered that myself, for me it's about the game and not the crappy plastic action figures and posters you always used to get with those editoins.

Yeah you're probably right, £70 is a bit much. However, you do get alot more stuff in this edition it seems then other limited editions where you'd just get a poster or DVD,

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Limited Codex Edition Includes:
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood game
Renaissance Collector Chest
Exclusive Codex
Map of Rome
Multiplayer characters cards
Lineage DVD
Bonus DVD and game soundtrack
2 Exclusive single player maps: Aqua Gear & Trajan Market
2 Multiplayer characters: Harlequin & Officer
Additional bonus content yet to be revealed

To be fair you're both right. I'm just gonna get the standard edition. Only thing really looking at it that I'd want is the extra maps but you'll probably be able to get those at a later date.

Just pre-ordered, what they call the "Special Edition", from Gameplay for £40. It's not £70 and you still get a few extra maps and characters.
