Atari have today announced a 're-imagining' of classic 1979 arcade space combat title Star Raiders, though even I'm not old enough to remember it.

"When launched over thirty years ago, Star Raiders became a classic Atari release and helped to introduce 3D gaming, space combat simulators and first-person shooters", said John Burns, Vice President and General Manager for Atari Europe. "Our new re-imagined Star Raiders introduces new features and competitive co-op and team based multiplayer gameplay."
