The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 blog today announces that the game has now shipped 5 million copies, no small achievement really. And also announces that a new co-op multi-player mode named Onslaught is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

This seems to be one squad vs a computer controlled AI on modified versions of the Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes and Nelson Bay maps. No news on a PC version but as the PC lacks a peer-to-peer lobby I can't see it happening. Perhaps we'll get a new PC mode at a later date?
