PlayStation Move Trailer and Images  by Craig D at 11:47

Playstation
Here's a first look at the actual PlayStation Move, along with a trailer that shows it in use, maybe. Some of them show the newly announce sub controller, which would appear to be a bit like a Wii Nun-chuck although there is no connecting cable. Both the main controller and the sub controller come with a built in rechargeable battery.

The PlayStation Move 'platform' is expected later this year with support in over 20 games.

Too little too late, the type of people who want this type of interaction already have a Wii and don't care about "improved accuracy" or the shiny graphics that the ps3 gives.
The Wii is cheap has fun social games for people who don't really play games, they aren't gonna go out splash a few hundred on a ps3 and controller for a similar experience.

At least natal give you something different, even tho i'm sceptical over what market that will appeal to, i'd always prefer a tactile controller to hold that wave my hands around in space.

I see this and natal as a gimmic, I don't want to wave my arms around catching balls. I want a proper game on a proper control device.

Well I can see it being a good control device depending on the game. I've not seen any good game ideas for Move yet but its still early days. The Wii was incredibly limited on innovative ideas until things like Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes and a _few_ others came out. Sometimes I fear if things are always passed off as a gimmic, without giving it a try, we'll be stuck with the same old shit for a long time.

I think it could be interesting if the accuracy is good . I was these VR shooting games in the states years ago and they where fun due to the interaction . If Sony invest in developing the software then this will add another dimension to gaming . Personal I just want mouse like accuracy on the PS3 .
