Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War  by Scott H at 18:31

PC
Well we seem to be drowning in fps news at the moment, so I thought id slow things down a little with some RTS news. But after reading about this upcoming game, 'slowing things down' might be the wrong choice of words.

Ive been playing Warhammer games since my tabletop days, and ive yet to to play a computer game baring the Warhammer 40k name that ive actually enjoyed.

Anyway I noticed this Q&A session with the developers over at www.gaming-age.com

There are also a few nice screen shots on there, and more are available over at the official site here

Yet another game i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for, you never know this could be the one that actually plays as good as it looks. Given the years of source material and history behind the W40K table top game, one would hope that the computer game can do it justice.

I mean visually stunning, at least going by E3 reports anyway..

Among other things I'm glad to see on that page it says most of the complicated rules wont be part of this game, so those of us that havent painted little models wont be put off so much :) I think there have been several warhammer titles that have been closer to the table top game so maybe this simplier approached will make a more appealing game.
