Medal of Honour : Pacific Assault  by Shane L at 15:02

PC
Continuing on from the original Medal of Honour game Pacific Assault looks a good bet to be one of this autumns big sellers with a release date of September 2004.

Although I have never played the MOH games myself reading the intro certainly got me interested.

Medal of honour Pacific AssaultTM puts you in the boots of a WWII soldier in the Pacific Theater of Operations. As Marine Private Tommy Conlin, you must survive the devastating attack on Pearl harbour and then join the Allied crusade to defeat imperial Japan's bloody conquest of the Pacific. From the attack at Pearl harbour to the pivotal battle against Japanese Forces at Tarawa Island, Medal of honour Pacific Assault gives PC gamers a sense of the courage it took to endure and overcome the Japanese threat in WWII and fight for VICTORY in the Pacific.

Game features include

Destroy the Japanese Empire -- From defending Battleship Row at Pearl harbour to maneuvering the jungles of Guadalcanal, fight your way through more than 35 single-player levels in the Pacific Theatre.

Ground-Breaking Technology -- Medal of honour Pacific Assault sets a new benchmark in real-world visuals, with HavokTM physics, mind-blowing lighting, textures, mirroring effects, and much more.

Revamped A.I. -- The all-new artificial intelligence takes advantage of squad tactics to create real, emergent environments.

All-New Multiplayer Elements -- With class based gameplay, all-new Invader gametype, integrated PunkBusterTM Technology, and eight original gameplay scenarios, multiplayer is more intense than ever before.

Verge of Death -- When pinned down by suppression fire and on your last breath, call a medic over, and hope for healing in time.

All looks good if you ask me, head over to the official site
to find out more.

I'm a sucker for games I can relate to in some way. I think that's why I buy so many realistic war games but will never buy another Unreal Tournament game ever, green balls of goo just don't do it for me.

A MoH/CoD based game on the Havok engine could be amazing if done right

Watched it, but be careful, Battlefield Vietnam also looked great in videos, and that's a real turkey.

True but when you look at MoH and the current havok based games it does seem promising. We'll just have to wait and see to know for sure I guess.
