Mirror's Edge Demo This Week  by Craig D at 22:01

PCXBoxPlaystation
EA and DICE have announced that a playable demo of their upcoming parkour inspired ttile Mirror's Edge will be available this week, 2 weeks ahead of the November11th launch. The Playstation 3 demo is expected tomorrow, the 30th and the Xbox 360 demo is due on Friday the 31st.

At present there's no news on a PC demo.

Players who pre-order the game (selected retailers only) will also receive an unlock code for exclusive access to the Time Trial mode. Time Trial is an addictive mode that challenges players to use their speed and best moves to find the fastest routes throughout the city. Gamers can upload their best time to the Mirror’s Edge online leaderboards for their friends to download and compete against. Players can see their friend’s 'ghost’ run as they race to the top of the leaderboards.

Played through it a couple of times now and I quite like it. It could have turned out really bad but I'm liking the easy controls and the speed of it. I hope the full game's a bit more frantic with being chased.. hopefully it will be.

boring is the wrong word. It could become repetative but I don't find it boring.

I liked it, I think it will most likely be very short, and probably a little repetative, but it was certainly different to be so mobile.

Upon second playing I enjoyed it more than before, I still say its not worth buying, but now maybe worth a rent.

Awesome demo. Played it through about 12 times trying to get a perfect run. It's really satisfying when you get things perfect. Can't wait!

You can only unlock that with the code they give you for pre-ordering the game.

Yep, I'm wondering if anyone who has pre-ordered it has gotten a code yet? I pre-ordered mine from game (I used some reward points on it) but I can only see the code being given out to play.com orders :/

I do hope Game follow suite Code + t-shirt would = win!
