SONY Says Sales are good  by Craig D at 12:15

Playstation
Apparently SONY's PlayStation 3 and the PSP for that matter are still selling well, despite the credit crunch which seems the follow a trend, it seems that games and the consoles to play them on are somewhat immune to consumer cutbacks at present, who knows how long that will last.

SONY America's Chief Executive Jack Tretton told Reuters yesterday that sales are in 'good shape'.

"We are in good shape for that number worldwide," he said in an interview. "We are tracking at 100 percent up over last year ... about 30 percent ahead of where we should be. So sales could slow down and we will still hit our number."
