All of the games throughout the X series allow you to build your own space stations. And X3: Terran Conflict is no exception. Build factories to start your own trading empire. Acquire an ever-growing fleet of ships to support your production chains, decide which ships you’d like to fly yourself and eventually – just in case – assemble your own armada of deadly warships.

But that’s just the beginning! Ships can now be assigned to groups called WINGS, giving you more sophisticated control over massive fleets while still enabling you to keep the focus on the ship you’re flying yourself.

Lots of new ship classes will improve the balance in ship to ship combat even further. Among them a wide array of new capital ship classes from Corvettes to Missile Frigates, as well as bomber squadrons, military transporters plus enhanced versions of many known models.

As with X3: REUNION, you’re encouraged to create a self-sustaining complex of space borne installations consisting of interconnected factories. As before you will be able to build your personal HQ allowing you to reverse engineer other species’ technology.
