The official U.K.PlayStation site has posted news about the latest incarnation of Castlevania.

It's nearly 20 years since the despicable Dracula first faced the wrath of the heroic Belmont family in the original Castlevania. Since then the brave souls from every branch of the Belmont family tree have struck out against the forces of darkness, most recently in the simply titled Castlevania on PS2. Now the fang-tastic franchise returns, but the Belmonts are gone and a disgruntled Dracula employee is our last hope.

Hector is one of two Devil Forgemasters (monster creators) that honed their monster summoning talents under the tutelage of the infamous vampire lord. But apparently, Hector and Drac' have a falling out and Hector storms out of Vallachia to lead a normal life, taking his demon dabbling talents with him.
