Nintendo denies storage rumours  by Joe R at 11:38

Nintendo
Wii CVG.com has reported that managing director at Nintendo Europe, Laurent Fischer, has dismissed concerns that the Wii is running out of storage capacity.

Speaking to EDGE magazine, Fischer supposedly "slipped", and commented on how "geeks and otaku" were the only people who cared about this sort of thing.

So far, Nintendo has consistently denied rumors that it's considering manufacturing a storage device, despite the launch of WiiWare, and a growing amount of DLC.

Even developers are having problems with the console, as Rob Kay comments over a question about lack of DLC for the Wii:

"The whole problem is there's nowhere to store it. If the platform could do it, we'd jump on it."

SD cards are really cheap at the minute, it's a pain to have to have a few of them though.
