The BBC are reporting on new claims issued by Sony that their console has now sold more machines in Europe than Microsoft's XBox 360.

"We have sold more PlayStation 3s throughout Europe than Xbox 360 even though they launched 16 months before us."

Interestingly, it seems the Xbox 360 is still performing well in comparison to the PS3 here in the UK but has a "problem on the continent". For me, the PS3 is still way too expensive when you compare it's price in both the USA and Japan to here, that hasn't stopped our friends on the continent though.
