Activision and id software have today announced that the PC version of Splash Damage's Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is now gold and will begin shipping worldwide from September 28th, October 2nd in North America.

To date, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars has won more than 15 awards and has been heralded as one of the most anticipated new titles in 2007 by nearly a dozen publications.
