Not too sure what to make of this

From the gameplay it looks alot like God of war, but with a shit load of slowdown which is a joke.

I saw an hour long making of documentary on this and the controls seem pretty awesome the way you have stances as well to mix it up. I didn't notice any slowdown on the tv show but I've not watched and other footage.

I have watched a shed load of HD trailers of this, and noticed slowdown in a large percentage of them.
Still most people don't notice slowdown till they have 5fps.

Craig's right about the mixed reviews , this is what IGN said about it click . They recon the sword play & graphics are to die for but the game itself is to short - like 6 hours to complete.

the demo is pretty good, and i noticed zero slowdown myself. i swear ryan you see things that dont exist half the time

maybe it's cause you've killed another hdd again ryan, I mean you kill them every month with your superior pc knowledge ^^

Yes your right I have had two hard drives die on me in the last 3 years, hard drives on a system like mine get major use so I think two in three years is pretty damn good don't you ? ? ? Slowdown is easy to spot once you know what you are looking for, it doesnt have to be stuttering. If its on the pc the way the mouse feels is a major sign, and just the way stuff moves not being ultra smooth and many other things. Run fraps with every game you play and notice how it looks and feels at under 60fps then you too will start to notice what real slowdown is.
Hopefully they have sorted it out before the release of the game as most do.

tbh some of the sections of this game have you fighting about 200 ppl at once, id forgive it a slight bit of slowdown in bits like that considering how good the graphics are, this game is very very pretty. however i think the gameplay will be quite shallow, and 6hrs to complete seems about standard for console games atm unfortunately, rainbow 6, graw2, the darkness have all been about that long. still ill probably pick this up as you can get it for 29 quid, will be fun for a while.

I admit it doesn't ruin the game, and it is playable. I don't know if its the same as the rest of you but for me playing a game with lots of slowdown for any long periods of time gives me a killer migrain. I guess its the slightly jerky motion or something. I guess I was hoping if you pay through the teeth for this console that has so much power behind it, maybe finally we could get console games without slowdown. I guess not.
