SteelSeries Invest Heavily in eSports  by Craig D at 22:49

PC
SteelSeries have today announced that they are planning to inject another $100,000 US Dollars into competitive gaming around the world. Lot's of that will be prizes of course so if you are organising a competitive LAN in the near future it might be worth giving them a shout.

Organizers of LAN-events and other tournaments should submit applications, including event/tournament descriptions, background information and an overview of previously organized events to sef@steelseries.com. Support will range from financial support to prizes consisting of products from the SteelSeries product line.

On a global scale more than 5.000 LAN-events has been supported by SteelSeries over the past five years, ranging from small local events with 50 attendees to major international grand-slams like The CPL, WSVG, WCG and WEG. SteelSeries eSports Foundation aims to help grow and promote eSports all over the world, by supporting some of the many local eSports initiatives that are being launched every year.

It's quite clear SteelSeries truly believe in competitive gaming.
