Somehow, in all the chaos of E3 2007, we missed Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - arguably the Playstation 3's most important game. Well we've the remedy for this oversight - the full HD trailer up for grabs on the game page, as well as 11 new screenshots.

The official word on the release for Snake's next-gen outing is 'Spring 2008' - and as of yet it's still a PS3 exclusive.

I've always thought this series has gone a bit downhill and this trailer just confirms it. Embarrassingly hammy voice-acting and a camp over-the-top ninja/vampire fight. If only they'd stick to tactical espionage action.

This trailer has single-handedly killed my desire to play this :/
