Microsoft have announced that the Xbox 360 Elite will be available for purchase in Europe from the 24th of August. Aside from being black the elite uses a much sought after HDMI connection and a bigger, 120gb, hard drive. I can't yet see any mention of what this means for downloading TV and movies in HD to your console from Marketplace but I suspect we'll find out soon enough.
