80GB Playstation 3 Includes a Rumble Controller?  by Craig D at 19:29

The much rumoured 80GB Playstation 3 is now official, and as a result, the standard 60gb model has indeed had it's price trimmed by $100 to $500 from $600, the new more storage endowed machine takes over that price slot.

All very interesting you might think with a somewhat 'so what' look on your face, at least until you see the new packaging and the first view of the controller in this new model with a shiny red LED in the middle of it. Evidence of rumble capability? I'd be very surprised if not.

According to the BBC, we in Europe will have to wait until Thursday for an announcement of future pricing and 80GB model availability.

If the price gets down to the 200-250 quid range where it belongs I'll pick one up for the little one

As soon as the 80gb model hits the stores the other drop in price yes.

We'll find out on Thursday what's happening here. Don't expect Sony to do us any favours though.
