Xbox 360 Will Not Be Getting Any Final Fantasy Games  by James B at 20:36

IGN are reporting that Square Enix have announced that they have no plans to produce any Final fantasy games for the Xbox 360. No doubt it has to do with the console's relative unpopularity in Japan. Seems that if you're a serious final Fantasy nut you'll have to get a PS3, at least for now.

Noting that the PS3 is getting Final Fantasy XIII, the website asked Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto if the Wii or Xbox 360 will also be getting games in the series. "For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production," replied Hashimoto. "As for FF on the Xbox 360, it's currently a completely blank page."

**** sake so im gonna have to buy an overpriced console with no other good games just for the ff :/

you even played the ps3? its very good, and good games will come soon enuff, rainbox6, gta4, ff, assassins creed to name a few.

An unreal 3 game on the ps3, that will be good. I wouldnt get one got that though, its out on the PC anyway Obi.

Nobody's denying the PS3 will get good games, just most of them will be on 360 too (including stuff like Devil May Cry 4). So that makes FF atm one of the few system sellers, if indeed it is one

yes mark ive pld it, theres nothing worth buying it for tho apart from ff13, since sony have no exclusives bar ff. all the games u list apart from ff r on the 360, as malis says, and since i already have a 360 it would be kinda a waste of money to get a ps3 to play a load of games that i can get on a system i already own. also unreal on a console? ur having a laugh fps games r SHIT with a pad, ill get it on the pc ta

LOL Obi didnt u know a ps3 has blu tooth and usb ports which means u can use a bloody keyboard and mouse for the ps3 and epic siad that UT3 on the ps3 will be able to use keyboard and mouse LOL so PS3 FTW! i tried the keyboard and mouse but not on a game yet and too me its bloody nice since we gotza Linux Yellow dog a PC OS

playing a console with a kb and mouse is just wrong tho, fps games are at their best on a pc (at least wen they r designed from the ground up for the pc anyway) and id rather play it on that, and UT3 aint a system seller for me anyway its the kinda game ill dl cos ill get bored of it in 2 minutes
