Steampowered news is reporting that Valve has been granted summary judgement in at least one part of it's case with Vivendi.
Can't say I fully understand what that means, the UK legal system baffles me, I'm not even going to try to understand the US one. But if this sort of thing interests you, go here to read more.
Valve today announced the U.S. Federal District Court in Seattle, WA granted its motion for summary judgment on the matters of Cyber Café Rights and Contractual Limitation of Liability in its copyright infringement suit with Sierra/Vivendi Universal Games.
