NCsoft send word that Richard Garriott's latest creative project Tabula Rasa has now entered beta, I guess that means taht Garriot does do some work and isn't always doing things like riding the Vomit Comet with Stephen Hawking.

"With closed beta testing now in progress, we’re excited to hear the feedback from our players. With fast-action and tactical combat in an RPG setting, a deep and interesting fictional universe, and many feature innovations, we think we’ve created a game that represents the next generation of MMO games and will revolutionize the way people play online games."

As far as MMO's go, I'm much more interested in this Sci-Fi universe than the usual fairy stabbing fantasy ones.
