yeah I played it a little bit, I didn't like it that much compared to more tactical games of the same genre. Just what I was expecting really.

Ive set it downloading and come to work so ill be on it later on
Ive been playing supreme commander a lot as the dual screen support is just excellent, I hope this has it.
1.2 gb demos are run of the mill these days.

I quite liked it. Nice, simple, destroy everything in site with the biggest army you can make. Don't like the real tactical RTS'. However, i can see it getting quite boring rather quickly.

CoH stands head and shoulders above it imo. Good tactics with different units, better graphics and gameplay. You can win using your head instead of who can build the biggest army quickest. I said it'd be like that before and that's why I don't like it now.

Played this demo and thought it was cack, especially when doing the objectives all the shakey camera movement, that pissed me off no end. Just seems a bit crap generally anyway.

I think you've summed it up nicely there Midnight. CoH IS the better game.

I prefer the click on the map business instead of constantly scroling in and out all the time but supreme commander is a better game but i prefer teh use of men in CnC3 SC is all mechs etc.. overall its good the demo is a bit disapointing in single player but better in skirmish

Had another go and it just annoyed me, after playing Supreme Commander be able to zoom so far out and see everything, it feels really claustrophobic, hard to see where to put buildings your that close, yuck!

I agree that the zoom feature is a bit annoying and it's dead easy to lose track of your units on the map, but I like it all the same. Not quite as visceral as Company of Heroes, but good fun.

And agree that skirmish is better.
