A trade journal has suggested the price of the new Nintendo handheld (DS) could be £130. As the Inquirer reports, when put in contrast to the US price of $150 (~£80) this is not looking all that good.

Whilst at £80, it's a no-brainer gadget for anyone interested in gaming, at £130, you're going to have really want it, and the higher price point will surely endanger its pervasiveness. Nintendo's current console, the Gameboy Advance SP, sells for £65.
