There's a very interesting question and answer session over at computer and video games, talking with Gray Matter Studios about the recently announced Call of Duty: United Offensive.

Perhaps most interesting to me are the new game play modes, Tank Battle and Domination.

Domination is a territory-based mode where each team must gain control of certain areas of a map in order to win. We've also added vehicles to the multiplayer game, allowing players to engage in tank vs. tank combat, or tank and foot soldier combined arms action, where infantry can grab a bazooka or satchel charge, or hop on a flak cannon to destroy enemy tanks. We're creating an enhanced multiplayer experience with Call of Duty: United Offensive.
