Vanguard: Saga of Heroes Trailer  by Craig D at 10:19

There's another Vanguard: Saga of Heroes movie today, this one runs for 1 minute 15 seconds and shows the games' premise, it's quite hi-res but only a 25.5mb download. Sigil Games' fantasy MMO is entering public beta very shortly.

I think the marketing team did a stand up job....although its alot of smoke and mirriors. Frankly they are promising too much, but in reality deliver very little....

two of the biggest things that interest me is the idea of macros for new combat system, but in reality its not a new system. This game rings me as everquest 3.....probably a better server to handle flying like COH does, but overall....lacking in something that is fundemental, combat.......

The second thing that interest me is the intrique.....reminds me though of begging in Everquest, also made by the same people making this game....

Begging got my character killed fast.........intrique will get you killed fast, if you work it up, it will have a minor affect in the game....because they cannot support 500 people all speaking into the same kings ear to do different things simutaneously....even instancing it, will mean training intrique will result in you maybe gaining some neat stuff, but overall affect on others will be limited....

If memory serves the CEO of sigil was one of the original designers of EQ....he's doing the exact same things for this game.....this is a level based game with limitations....don't get into the hype that there aren't limitations.....

anything that you can imagine you can do in this game you can imagine without it.....

The combat system that is actually visually doing what this one is trying to say its doing is GODS & HEROES.....although in the long run even all those visuals might get tedious like COH did, seeing them over and over.....

they talked about this games macros being opening, bridge, and finishing moves(combo). Empty words....whatever they macro together you can do without macroing......

The sucking everquest limitations of 8 spells at max you
