Here's the first two screenshots of Alien Syndrome. Developed by Totally Games and published by Sega, Alien Syndrome is an update of a 1980s arcade game of the same name.

A classic style shooter with 20 weapons and over 100 enemies, Alien Syndrome promises to take full advantage of the Wii's controls, and is due in Summer 2007 on both Wii and PSP.

Note: As far as I'm aware this is nothing to do with the Alien film license that Sega has just acquired.
