Wired has news that the much loved but short lived Sci-fi show Firefly may well return soon as an MMORPG. While I'm please Firefly may make a return in some fashion or other, I'm no MMO fan and don't want to see the shows memory or possible future tarnished, let's hope they do a good job.

The universe of Firefly and its spinoff film, Serenity, featured everything from Old West-style towns to futuristic urban environments, gritty spaceships and pastoral retreats -- freedom fighters, oppressive government agents, smugglers, outlaws, mercenaries, trader, townsfolk, futuristic geishas and a race of corrupted humans known as the Reavers.

So, plenty of possible races or skills then. Apparently we can expect an official announcement today from Multiverse.
