Counter-Strike Source upcoming content  by Craig D at 10:35

PC
This post on cs-nation talks about upcoming content for Counter-Strike Source, most interesting is the new map. My personal opinion would be to not bother porting more of the old ones and write all new ones.

We're working on porting some more of the classic maps right now, currently de_prodigy is in the works. We'll be releasing this as quickly as they are completed.

We're also working on one original map, which will begin internal playtesting this week. This still means we have a fair amount of work to do on it.

We're also working on two updated player models.

Most of this is scheduled to be released in the December timeframe.

Since you were the advocate of not discussing CS:S, Jammin, you do seem awfully keen to throw in your tuppence worth in every thread. People might be bored of CS:S, but I'm a bit bored of hearing people bash it, too.

As long as the new maps are actually worth playing I would agree.

We need at least 10 decent new maps, otherwise it will just be the case of overplaying the new one until were fedup with it.
