Games Industry Favours Wii?  by James B at 22:23

Gamasutra have an interesting Q&A article up asked industry figures whether they would be buying PS3, Wii or sticking with Xbox 360 this Christmas. When it came to the crunch the majority of them support the Wii - citing price, refreshing new gameplay directions and a movement away from stale graphics-enhanced remakes as all key factors in their decision.

Many of the questioned individuals are listed as anonymous (no doubt to avoid trouble at work) so it's slightly hard to gauge just how definitive this questionnaire is. Regardless, it's an entertaining read and one sure to provoke more console arguments amongst fans.

Gives the impression that many in the industry are fans of gameplay over graphics. Wonder if the consumer will be too. We'll know for sure in a year's time.

I'm sure I don't want to suggest that the article might not be genuine...but when you have anonymous people commenting how do we know? Just playing devil's advocate

Gamasutra is a well-known website for games developers and the online version of a print magazine - leading me to conclude that they should be fairly reputable. I do however see your point
