Ten Thousand CS Cheats Banned  by Craig D at 13:28

PC
Missed this yesterday, this weeks Steam Marketing message included news that the latest VAC update has caught and banned more than 10,000 Counter-Strike cheaters, anyone know if it bans your entire Steam account and all the games you have on it? Or does it just lock/ban you from playing Counter-Strike?.

We expect to see a surge of forum posts laying blame squarely at the feet of "my little brother."

Made me laugh anyway.

VAC is in effect for the whole Steam package - i.e. YOU CANT PLAY ON ANY VAC Server

Not true maz, if you get your half life 1 cd key banned, then you cant play online with any game that uses your hl1 cd key, e.g cs or dod. However you can still play online with your hl2 and css games.

This steam news was referring to VAC in general, not just source. And yes, the CS scene is still as big as ever.
