Faces of War Review  by Craig D at 13:08

PC
We have our review of Faces of War review on-line today, a bit of catch-up really as the game came out a couple of months ago, In some ways that's a bonus as it can now be bought from most on-line retailers for under twenty quid. Anyway, James seems to think it's a decent enough game that's probably let down by being a little too easy in places amongst other niggles.

Once you've mastered the controls, and got into the swing of things, it really becomes quite enjoyable. Sure, it's not really realistic, but sending a crack team of men against overwhelming odds is a sadistic yet thoroughly enjoyable perk of being a WW2 commander it seems. Your unit is invariably part of a grander scheme, and the majority of missions see you on huge maps, fighting and following the main computer controlled army.
