Xbox 360 HD-DVD Drive Hacked Onto A PC  by James B at 18:40

PCXBox
Here's an interesting piece of modding news for you: Uneasysilence have managed to get the Xbox 360's new HD-DVD drive running on a Windows PC using some nifty drivers.
The MacOS also automatically recognized the drive, but at the moment there is no Mac player that supports HD-DVD format.

That makes the HD-DVD 360 add-on great value tbh, MS should give these guys a helping hand imho.

they should give the drivers away free with the drive, It would help boost sales and push the DH format.

Apparently works with Vista without 'nifty' drivers.

Still, spose we should;t get too excited, we'll be able to get internal hd-dvd drives for less than that price before too long.

it seriously doesnt make since why it already wouldnt be compatible. I mean 200$ for just a drive! I feel like the same as when I bought my first CD burner(4x pwnage).
