Blizzard and Vivendi Universal Games have today announced the street availability date of the much anticipated World of Warcraft expansion pack, The Burning Crusade. All you addicts will get your fix on the 16th of January 2007 in both Europe and North America, players elsewhere can expect the game shortly thereafter.

Also included in the press release is news that WoW now has 7.5 million subscribers. Surely that's enough to re-classify it from 'game' to 'addiction'?
