AMD Launches 4000+ and FX55  by Craig D at 09:41

It's new CPU time again, this time AMD's Athlon 64 4000+ and FX55, while undoubtedly faster than almost everything on the market, are they good value? Find out for yourself by reading one or more of the following articles.

firingsquad - In a nutshell, the Athlon 64 FX-55 is another flagship chip with best-in-class performance selling for top dollar. If you can afford it, value probably isn't top priority. Then again, it doesn't hurt to mention that the processor's main competition bears a retail price nearly $200 higher.

The new nForce AMD mobo has been launched as well, one that allows the SLI setup not sure whether I'll go that router or not, looks like you pay quite a premium for the SLI version of the mobo let alone the cost of two cards. (not that i would buy two at the same time)
