Rainbow Six Las Vegas Demo on Xbox Live  by Ryan S at 20:03

XBox
As promised Ubisoft today released a single player demo of the much anticipated new Rainbow Six game coming in at under 500mb. You can choose to play the demo either in either arcade style or the more realistic approach Rainbow six games are known for.

If you own an Xbox 360 then I thoroughly recommend you download this demo. The game is due to be released on the 24th of November

I am very impressed with it so far, not tried it in realistic mode yet.

It's good but not R6 anymore to me. Seems like GRAW and R6 are basically becoming the same things, the different games blurring into one. I enjoyed the detailed strategy approaches that old R6 games offered, allowing you to plan missions in incredible detail, yet still allowing you to be a solo hero if it went wrong. Still, this is a console game.

You are right gone are the planning stages of the missions, maybe they will be added in the full game ?
I can't see that tho, this is a console game and as such wont want to be too complicated. However the planning bits always annoyed me anyway so I am happy enough

I agree, I never used the planning parts and found them boring. I was glad they were gone from GRAW on the 360 as well.

Yeah, at the end of the day I just wanna shoot people in the face and blow shit up

Cool demo BTW... though really needs some more AA.
