Over at 1up.com there's some interesting Japanese Xbox 360 sales figures that relate specifically to the upcoming RPG Blue Dragon.

Apparently a special pre-order bundle featuring the game, a core console and some other Blue Dragon merchandise has pretty much sold out all ten thousand of the packs in a matter of hours. Considering that Microsoft's new console has been selling little more than a thousand machines a week, it's potentially big news for Microsoft in Japan.
