Sam & Max Episodic Pricing And Release Details  by James B at 18:39

Telltale Inc. and GameTap have announced a complete price plan for the upcoming episodic adventures of Sam & Max.

The choices are:

1) Download individual Sam & Max episodes for $8.95 each from Telltale.
2) Buy the entire season for $34.95 from Telltale.
3) Subscribe to GameTap for $9.95/month to get exclusive early access to Sam & Max episodes, along with over 600 other games.

Culture Shock, the pilot episode of Sam & Max: Season 1, will debut on GameTap on October 17, where it will run exclusively for 15 days. The game will then be released on Telltale's website November 1. Episodes 2-6 will also follow this pattern, being released monthly. Standalone animated shorts will reportedly bridge the gap between episodes.

Purchusing the whole season for $34.95 will give you access to each episode as soon as it becomes available on Telltale's website, and a free Season 1 CD containing all six episodes at the end of the season for only the cost of shipping and handling.
