Codemasters and Microsoft today announced that the 1994 Amiga classic, Sensible World of Soccer will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade in Q1 2007. Xbox 360 owners will get the chance to play the game on-line against their friends and indeed will be able to play in both the retro graphical style and a newly designed 720p look.

Chris Lewis, regional vice president, Entertainment and Devices EMEA, Microsoft, comments:

To have such an iconic gaming experience as Sensible World of Soccer lined up as a future title is fantastic and will deliver the perfect match for Live gamers. Xbox 360 is already the home of next-generation football – with Sensible World of Soccer, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to enjoy the seminal console football game experience too."

I keep meaning to get myself the latest Sensible Soccer game but never get round to it.
