Madden NFL 07 Interview (Wii)  by James B at 17:30

Nintendo
IGN have a huge interview up with Madden Producer Jason Armenise, where he talks about the game and the Wii console. Sounds like real effort has been put into the Wii version for this one. Most interesting is his talk of the Wii's graphics, where he seems to suggest it pushes the Xbox 360 in some areas.

Right from the beginning, we said, "You know what? We need to make this game look better than Xbox at the very minimum. And if possible, we need to challenge the Xbox 360 version." That was our goal from the first day. So we've done a whole host of things that put the game far in advance of the GameCube and we think better than the Xbox. And in some cases, we're challenging the Xbox 360 on graphics.

Nintendo have always maintained that the Wii should be twice as powerful as the GameCube graphically, and this seems to back it up. Can only be good news.

Yeah but at least that occurs in the UK, American football is basically non existant here, with good reason. And they make us call football soccer when they dont even use their ****ing feet. That also annoys me

Jammin in American Football you do use your feet just not as much as soccer so to say that in American football you do not even use your feet is an ignorant statement and should be researched before being said. But to each his own. I like both football and soccer(football). But soccer can be booooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg too bro.
