First Confirmed Wii Virtual Console Games From Sega  by James B at 15:58

The ESRB website contains a listing of all age rated games. Filter down to Wii and you'll notice 7 classic Megadrive games listed for Wii. We can take these to be the first Sega games available for the Wii's Virtual Console:

Altered Beast
Ecco The Dolphin
Columns
Golden Axe
Ristar
Sonic the Hedgehog
Toe Jam & Earl

Yer but thigns have moved on, some of those games will stand the test of time, but most won't I bet.

True, there are some things that are timeless though, Sonic is probably the best example out of that list.
