Played quite a few of the larry games, hmm 1987 was a goo year, they wern't bad at the time, then again I was a teenager. I can also remember being quite impressed with "Samantha Fox's Strip Poker" the year before, but that is a story for another day.

I also played "Police Quest" which was quite an interesting series for its time, which was released through Sierra also. Not forgetting Space Quest either.

I really don't find the humour in the LSL series very funny. I remember reading a book called Porterhouse Blues at the same time as I started playing the originals...and being thoroughly revolted. It's like when you have a friend who says "oo-errr" after every sentence and you have to rack your brain to find which word you said that sounds a bit like "poo".

Monkey Island's great. Fry from Futurama always reminds me of Guybrush.

If I was really oldskool I would have played Shades on the Prestel network, the first Online game I ever came across. I did want to play it but using a modem online back in the early 80s would have ment parents paying the costs, and they wernt too keen.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was also another Favorite of mine, and theres another one im trying to remember the name of.

The one with 3 characters and you switched between them, and one of them was pretty fat.

That's true - and at least partially because Lucasarts are evil ****ers who only like Star Wars games.

DOT was very good. Indeed so was Indiana Jones, if not a little slow.
