2K Sports have announced that the Xbox and Xbox 360 version of NHL 2K7 have gone gold and should hit stores by September 12th. The PS2 version should b ready by late this month and the Playstation 3 version late in the year, though that doesn't matter to us Europeans.

NHL 2K7, the latest in the #1 rated** hockey video game series, has gone gold and is set to hit retail shelves on September 12th. NHL 2K7 introduces a completely new skating engine and a multitude of new features, enriching the virtual ice rink experience.
