Gamesutra has some bits from an official Nintendo statement that confirms their shipment plans for the rest of this financial year. Unlike Sony, Nintendo would seem to still plan to ship us Europeans some next-gen consoles this year.

Nintendo of America has indicated that its plans to ship six million units of the Wii console worldwide before the end of the fiscal year March 31st, 2007 are unchanged
