59,000 WoW Accounts Banned  by Craig D at 22:51

PC
World of Warcraft Apparently Blizzard have recently banned 59,000 accounts, that's considerably more people than play some games. It would seem they were all participating in gold farming or other such nefarious activities. We all hate cheats, yes?

Good for them. That's a big decision seeing as each of those people earn's Blizzard the equivalent of £8.99 a month. Not many other companies would drop that much money so easily.

Man thats £530k per month in revenues they have cut loose . That takes bottle good for them . Mind it is worth it when you consider the impact to their revenue base if cheaters start to piss people off & they go find other online games to pump their cash into.
