Blueyonder Goes Beyond the 512k  by Shane L at 09:51

Blueyonder broadband has revealed it is to increase its broadband speed by 50% and at absolutely no charge to yourself.

There's no extra charge for this - it's absolutely FREE which means you can enjoy 50% faster broadband for your existing monthly charge. By the end of May, all 512k, 1Mb & 2Mb customers will be automatically upgraded, enabling them to go 50% faster.

Sounds too good to be true, but this also states that your upload limit will remain unchanged.

*update, It appears NTL are to offer something aswell, but does not quite work out at 50% increase unless your on 1mb, anyway more news here

Sweet, 1.5mbits.

Though I may now downgrade and save some cash, as I'd still get 750k.

I can't see it though, once I've used 1.5 meg, I'll be hooked.

NTL have upped the price by 3 quid on its 1mb service to 37.99 (timed that well).

Plus if you drop down to the 750k line you only have the 128k upload.
